Yoga

That, for us, is not what a yoga holiday is about. People go on holiday - even yoga holidays - to relax, take it easy and enjoy themselves.

At The Hill, you can do just that: all of our yoga holidays allow you to take it easy, to remember the holiday bit of the yoga holiday. Everyone wants to come back from a yoga holiday - yes, having learnt some yoga from a great teacher - but also feeling like they've had a real holiday too.

That's why we're very keen on keeping the balance right on our yoga holidays - and that does tend to make us different to some other yoga holidays.

Any yoga holiday at The Hill is designed for all levels. On our yoga holidays, as on other weeks, there is one session in the morning and one late-afternoon.

Seriously relaxing yoga holidays

So, what do you get from a yoga holiday (or several yoga holidays)?

Let's get the obvious stuff out of the way: yoga is great for you. By doing yoga, you get the immediate sensation of being fully relaxed and energetic at the same time. It is great for your health: your body becomes stronger and fitter and your internal organs, muscles and joints benefit deeply from the practice. It gives you a sense of calm and centredness that you then take out into your everyday life. Doing a yoga holiday (or, yes, several yoga holidays), then, is going to do you a lot of good.

With our yoga holidays, we also aim to do something different. The risk with taking a yoga holiday is that you're forced to get up early, and take yourself (and the yoga) very seriously.
