John and Gaia usually only teach their F**k It philosophy during weeks at their centre, The Hill That Breathes. But the success of the books 'F**k It: The Ultimate Spiritual Way' and 'The Way of F**k It' mean that they'll be increasingly teaching elsewhere. And this is their first full weekend in London.
During the F**k It Day (Saturday), we'll explore the miracle of saying 'F**k It': why we get to the point where we need to say it in the first place; how it works in helping us to let go and relax big-time. We'll learn why saying F**k It is actually a spiritual way. We'll learn how to say F**k It to what other people think of us (a big block for potential F**kiteers) and really go for what we want in life.
But it won't be all talk. We'll learn energy exercises from the Chinese art of Qigong that allow you to let go fully and heal yourself. We'll do exercises that demonstrate that the less you try, the more you can achieve (and the stronger you'll be).
If you want to learn how to make saying F**k It work for you in your daily life, this is the perfect day for you.
During the F**k It All Day, we'll take the whole idea of F**k It to another level. The F**k It philosophy came out of a period of exploration and realization for John & Gaia in the early noughties. They realized that we overcomplicate our lives so much, even in our earnest spiritual searching, to the point where we end up confused and in pain.
They realized that we overlay on what is a whole range of concepts and meanings that are just that… concepts. The ideas of past and future, the ideas of 'me' in relation to 'others', the ideas of purpose and intention, are just that: ideas.
Underneath all these ideas is a simple reality… simply what is happening. Everything else is a notion, a dream.
In this day, then, John & Gaia go back to basics: in terms of where the whole F**k It thing came from, and in terms of the truth of what is. F**k It All is radical: it can be realized that there is no meaning to any of this, but that it is all so incredibly beautiful.
Once this is glimpsed, all the ideas of the spiritual, mystical and philosophical traditions become clear… all the non-judgement, the letting go, the acceptance… these are all simply by-products (not aims) of a radically different way of seeing.
F**k It All is the end of the search. It's the final giving up.
Come and join us to explore some seriously radical perceptions.
